British Young Carpers Angling Championships

The 2015 Korda British Young Carpers' Angling Championships will once again be taking place on the renowned Oxford Linear Fisheries Complex in Oxford, and once again we’ll be back where it all started on the fantastic Oxlease! Last year saw numerous PBs broken and the first BYCAC 30-pounder on the bank!

This event, organized by Angling Publications the publishers of Crafty Carper monthly carp fishing magazine, which is now in its 12th year will commence on Monday the 3rd August until Sunday the 9th August 2015 with a series of four day-only eliminators which will see in excess of 120 junior anglers battle it out for a place in the 48-hour final. Approximately 30 anglers will be entered into each of the 4 day-only eliminators which are Monday 3rd August, Tuesday 4th August, Wednesday 5th August and Thursday 6th August. The top 8 anglers who catch the highest weight of fish from each eliminator will qualify into the 48-hour final which begins on Friday 7th August at 12.00p.m. through until 12.00p.m. on Sunday 9th August. The final will be screened on Sky Sports later in the year courtesy of our Title Sponsor Korda!

Entry to the BYCAC 2015 is on a first come, first served basis, as long as you are aged 17 or under on August 1st 2015, have your own overnight carp catching kit and a responsible adult (aged 18 or over) to accompany you, you too can enter - could you be the next British Young Carpers’ Angling Champion?
