British Young Carpers Angling Championships

The 2013 Korda British Young Carpers' Angling Championships will once again be taking place on the renowned Oxford Linear Fisheries Complex in Oxford and due to the success of last year?s event we will again be setting up for the week on Brasenose Two!

This fantastic event, organized by Angling Publications the publishers of Crafty Carper monthly carp fishing magazine, which is now in its 10th year will commence on Monday the 5th August until Sunday the 10th August 2013 with a series of four day-only eliminators which will see in excess of 120 junior anglers battle it out for a place in the 48-hour final. Approximately 30 anglers will be entered into each of the 4 day-only eliminators which are Monday 5th August, Tuesday 6th August, Wednesday 7th August and Thursday 8th August. The top 8 anglers who catch the highest weight of fish from each eliminator will qualify into the 48-hour final which begins on Friday 9th August at 12.00p.m. through until 12.00p.m. on Sunday 10th August. The final will be screened on Sky Sports later in the year courtesy of our Title Sponsor Korda!

Entry to the BYCAC 2013 is on a first come, first served basis, as long as you are aged 17 or under on August 1st 2013, have your own overnight carp catching kit and a responsible adult to accompany you, you too can enter - could you be the next British Young Carpers? Angling Champion?
