Spawning

**Spawning Update** 09:45 28/05/16.

We've still got B-1 closed, we are going to wait until it warms up at midday and then see what they are up to before deciding whether or not it stays shut. In the mean time we have closed a number of swims up the shallow end of St. Johns, this is the third time they've had a go up there so hopefully it won't last much longer.

Spawning

**Spawning Update** 3:45pm 27/05/16.

We still have Brasenose-One closed due to spawning but all swims on Hunts Corner Lake are now back open.

Spawning

**Spawning Update** 9am 27/05/16.

The spawning on Brasenose-One has actually increased overnight and they have now spread themselves around what seems like the entire lake. This is unusual as they normally confine themselves to one area of the water.

Due to this we've taken the decision to close all of Brasenose-One. We know it's a bank holiday and many of you may have wanted to fish the water but it would not be fair on the fish. Our apologies to anyone who had planned to fish B-1.

As soon as they have stopped we'll re-open the lake, this could be this afternoon, tomorrow or Sunday, we'll keep you updated on this page.

**Spawning Update** 18:20 26/05/16.
The fish now seem to have finished on Oxlease Lake and all swims are now back open.
We still have swims 1-3 and 10 closed on Hunts but they have virtually finished and we expect to reopen those swim by tomorrow midday at the latest.
They have slowed on B-1 but there are still groups spawning so the following swims remain closed, with a bit of luck they'll be re-open by Friday afternoon. B-1: Swims 19-32 closed.

Spawning

**Spawning Update**

Most fish now seem to have now stopped on St. Johns and Manor, currently no signs on Oxlease, Hunts, B-1, Gaunts or Unity but they are looking like they are chasing a bit on B-2 and Yeomans Lake. We'll have another look in the morning and update if required but with the cold weather coming in for the weekend, I'd imagine they will stop for the time being.

Open Day

**Available at The Linear Open Day - This Saturday**
**Special Offer for all Linear Fisheries Customers**
Linear Fisheries has made the decision to start selling the New Gardner Tackle Intensive Care Treatment at a very low price. This Excellent product has only recently been released and really should be a must for all anglers to carry in their kit bags. It is designed for treating cuts, sores or hook-holds on fish and comes highly recommended.
We are going to make this product available to all anglers that visit the site, for only £6, this very special offer will probably mean we actually lose money on each sale. However we feel it's far more important to enable all visiting anglers to look after our precious fish without breaking the bank. RRP is normally £10.
This offer is only available to anglers visiting the site, either from our bailiff's on the bank-side or from the fishery office in-between St. Johns and Manor Farm Lakes. So make sure you get one of these the next time you visit the site.

**Important Reminder**

This is just a reminder that DRONES are banned from the whole site. This is down to the proximity of the lakes to Brize Norton Air Force Base. They are only used by us for filming, with "flight plans" agreed with the Air Force to ensure the sky's are clear above the site. This rule will be enforced strictly, so please don't bring them with you.

The first spawning on the site has started with a group of fish on St. Johns, we have closed swims 26-30.

No other spawning taking place at the moment, that we are aware of. The weather is due to cool off as the week progresses so we don't think there will be loads of spawning but we'll keep you informed if anything changes.

We've also noticed a group of fish in the back bay of Manor Farm, not 100% sure if they are spawning but we are going to close swims 15 and 16 just in case.

**Swim Availability/Bank Holiday Update ** (Friday 11:50 am).

Oxlease and Hunts are now basically full until tomorrow midday/early afternoon noon, there are quite a few due off then particularly Oxlease.

The rest of the site is now very busy as well, quite a few have only paid until this afternoon, so some swims will free up as the day goes on but we would advise not to travel down in groups, as you will struggle to find swims together. There are single swims dotted about.

We will add a full update this evening, as normal. In the mean time you can contact us on 07885 327708 for advice on which swims are freeing up.

We will confirm this evening but it is looking like the site will be very close to full, tonight. For those travelling down tomorrow, it would probably be best to leave it until late morning or midday when there will be plenty of anglers leaving.
