Guys Syndicate
The syndicate - Gaunts, Unity and Yeomans Lakes
These three very pretty lakes are in close proximity to each other, with easy access to most swims and ample toilets and parking space. There are approximately 200 members who can fish any one of the three waters on the same permit. With the River Windrush running along one boundary and the Medley Brook on the other the only access is across the river through locked gates. This makes the site about as secure as it could ever be.
As well as the carp that all three lakes contain in high numbers the waters hold some stunning tench that have been caught to over twelve pounds. Other species such as perch, rudd, roach and pike abound there and can provide excellent sport. There are also a small number of grass carp that have been caught to over 37 pounds and ghost carp that exceeded 42 pounds.

The Guy lakes syndicate
Situated alongside the beautiful River Windrush the three waters combine 60 acres of fishable water between them. The waters are set in superb, landscaped surroundings and there are two main car parks with fairly easy access to most swims. The lakes are very close together on this beautiful, mature site where the only vehicle access to the site is across a river bridge and is restricted by gates that are kept locked to all but the members. Toilets are also situated at strategic points around the complex.
Carp
The syndicate is home to numerous big carp, including a host of 20's, loads of thirties along with a healthy sprinkling of 40lb plus fish. In fact in recent years, the syndicate has produced its first ever 50lb fish.
Other Species
The tench fishing continues to improve and could be amongst the best in the country; all the waters have produced fish over nine pounds with Unity providing the biggest so far at over twelve pounds. The is some excellent sport for pike anglers, but pike fishing is only allowed between the months of Oct and March. There is also some quality roach, rudd and perch fishing available for those that fancy a go!
