**Linear Fisheries - Job Opportunity (Tackle Shop and Fishery Assistant: Full Time)**

Linear Fisheries is currently recruiting for a new, full-time position working predominantly at the site’s on-site fishing tackle and convenience store, ‘Linear Bait and Tackle’ along with helping the maintenance and bailiff team around the lakes. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to become part of Linear’s award winning team at their Oxfordshire home.
Position – Tackle Shop and Fishery Assistant.
Location – Linear Fisheries - Witney, Oxfordshire.
Hours – Full Time (but flexible and may include weekends).
Wages – Competitive Salary.
Start date – March/April 2025.
All applicants should be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and be able to engage with all customers in a positive and friendly way.
Should be happy working both in-store and out on the lakes.
Furthermore, an applicant must be able to show good attention to detail, paying particular attention into ensuring all Health and Safety aspects of the job are carried out correctly.
Full training in all aspects will be provided where required.
Knowledge of fishing, tackle shop retail and or fishery work would be beneficial.

**Please Note**

TAR FARM LAKES 4, 5 & 8 will be closed from 8am to 4pm on Sat 22nd Feb for the Linear Lure Champs.
Tar Farm Lakes 6 and 7 are open as normal on a walk-on basis.

Linear Fisheries are pleased to announce that we will be holding a Lure Champs match on Sat the 22nd Feb, at Linear's Tar Farm Lakes Complex.

Limited tickets are available at £35 each - with tackle, cash and voucher prizes - Official Linear Fisheries measure boards to be used by all anglers, and you must have the ability to log into a WhatsApp group on the day. Rules will be provided to all entrants.

**Please Note**

Brasenose-1 will be closed all day Wednesday 5th Feb for Maintenance.
And
Brasenose-2 will be closed all day Thursday 6th Feb for Maintenance.

** Flooding Update Tar Farm **
Due to the weekend’s storms, unfortunately the water has now built up to the point where lake 4, 5, 7and 8 on Tar Farm are now closed.
Lake 6 is still ok to fish for the moment. But we will update. This is still just just turn up with no booking.
The rest of the site is still unaffected. Again, we are extremely sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We are very disappointed this has happened again.

** Weather Update **

We now have all lakes open around the site.

Guys lakes are all open but limited swims on all 3 lakes as the water level is dropping very slowly.

It is extremely muddy all over the complex so wellies are a must!!

** Tar Farm Complex **

The Tar Farm Complex until the 27th March are turn up waters with no booking! Just turn up, start fishing and a bailiff will be round at some point.

Dates after the 27th March will revert back to booking through the Catch app. These dates are available to book now

** Float Lake **

The Float Lake will be closed all day on Sunday 2nd February. Cheers
