Here is our Christmas Flooding Update on what lakes are open:
Most of B-1 and B-2 are now open except pegs 33-45 will remain closed on B-1 and pegs 32-34 & 16-19 will remain closed on B-2.
Manor Farm Lake - is now open
Hardwick/Smiths - will reopen on the 27th
Parts of St. Johns Pool - will reopen on the 27th
Tar Farm Lakes - currently closed
Oxlease Lake - currently closed
Hunts Corner Lake - currently closed
The Guys Lakes Syndicate - we hope to have some pegs open on Yeomans and Unity by the 28th, but not Gaunts. Please check with us on the 27th to see if Guys is opening on the 28th.
The site is still very wet and muddy in areas, and there will be standing water in the front of some pegs, so PLEASE make sure you bring wellies with you. The site is also a bit scruffy around the edges, after all the storms and flooding, our apologies for this, we have been tidying the complex for the last few weeks, and we will continue to do so.....
The Tackle Shop is open, for any last-minute Christmas shopping and we've just had a fresh delivery of maggots and worms. NOTE - the tackle shop will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
All the best and Merry Christmas from everyone at Linear Fisheries.....

**Flooding Update** 13/12/24.
Just a quick update on the flooding situation at Linear.
After last weekend Storm Darragh, the water levels have unsurprisingly come right back up again – the level has now settled and is very slowly dropping but this does unfortunately mean that the water is still very high around the whole complex.
Obviously, with Christmas is only around the corner, we are trying our very best two get something open by then, but we have to make sure it is safe to reopen, hence the reason the fishery is currently closed.
We are hoping to get parts of Brasenose-One, a few swims on Hardwick and a few on St. Johns Pool, back open for around the 21st, but we can’t promise or give an exact date at the moment.
The only thing we can say, with confidence, is that the Tar Farm, Oxlease and Gaunts Lakes will definitely not be open before Christmas, and probably not until the New Year. We will try to get part of the Guys Syndicate open for the festive period, if it’s safe…..
So, as it stands, the Tackle Shop is open, for any last-minute Christmas shopping but all the lakes are currently closed, so please do not travel down to the fishery.
We'll update this message towards the end of next week.
All the best - Linear

At midday on Tuesday 3rd Dec, we will release the 2025 CATCH booking dates for Manor Farm, Hunts Corner and the five Tar Farm Lakes, so that you can make bookings for 2025 Online via
https://www.gocatch.fish/
**Please Note: Manor and Hunts Corner will be available all year, however due to the Tar Farm Complex being quite prone to flooding, we are not releasing dates on any of the Tar Farm waters between the following dates: Monday 6th January and Thursday 27th March, as well as Monday 3rd November and Thursday 18th December. Between these dates, and if the waters are not flooded, you will be able to just show up and choose an available peg on any of the Tar Farm waters, in the same way as you would fish the Brasenose Waters. There will also be a small price increase on any booking taken from tomorrow on certain tickets.
All the best - Linear Fisheries.

**Flooding Update**
Please note that ALL Linear Fisheries waters (day ticket and syndicate) are temporarily closed due to flooding and water levels are to high on all lakes for them to be accessed or fished safely. We don’t expect some of these waters to reopen until roughly the 23rd December, with Oxlease possibly being longer than that, but we are hopeful that some waters will open by w/c 16th Dec.
For those booked on through CATCH, you will be receiving emails if you have bookings during this period, so please check your spam as well.
**The Tackle Shop will remain open if you need anything**
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding.

**Flooding Update**
As with many areas of the country, Storm Bert has taken its toll and is starting to cause flooding at the fishery.
As it stands, Hardwick/Smiths and Oxlease are starting to flood, along with the Guy Lakes Syndicate.
All the Tar Farm Lakes, with the exception of Lake-6 are now all closed.
All other waters are still open, but we do expect the water to also rise on these.
We are hoping that this will not lead to the whole complex having to close for a period of time, but this is a possibility - we will of course keep you all updated throughout the week as things change, for the better or worse.
Anyone with a booking on Tar Farm Lakes 4,5,7,8 over the next few weeks, will have today been sent an email from CATCH, please check your spam folders.
The tackle shop is open.
Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause, but it's unfortunately out of our control.
